Dortmund/Paris, May 25, 2011 – e-Spirit AG (www.e-Spirit.com) has acquired its first customer in France: the Fives Group (www.fivesgroup.com). The international group will use the FirstSpirit content management system (CMS) to prepare and manage content for the SAP NetWeaver based corporate intranet. Fives, an industrial engineering group, designs and supplies process equipment, production lines and turnkey plants for the world“s largest industrial groups in the aluminium, steel, cement, energy, glass, sugar, automotive and logistics industries and has around 5,700 employees in nearly 30 countries. In securing the Fives Group account, e-Spirit continues its growth towards another major European market. The news marks the beginning of e-Spirit’s further expansion of its partner network in France.
FirstSpirit stood out in the selection process organized by the Fives Group, and outperformed a number of other content management systems. Fives chose FirstSpirit because of its outstanding, certified ability to be integrated into the SAP NetWeaver Portal. Another important plus was the capacity for extension, facilitating adaptation for future web projects. The SAP portal integration will be implemented with support from the certified e-Spirit and SAP Service Partner HLP Informationsmanagement GmbH.

FirstSpirit is designed for international, multi-lingual business applications. This approach ensures consistent content as well as efficient and economical editing processes for international web projects. Seamless integration of FirstSpirit into the SAP Portal with its roles and privileges concept will allow Fives to reap additional benefits. Employees will be able to manage portal content in the user-friendly FirstSpirit content management work environment and publish directly to the intranet without needing any knowledge of SAP or being familiar with the output logic of the portal. As such, editors can focus on their work and rely on FirstSpirit to automatically generate the required portal links.
