Innovative Tool for Fast Drawing and Cross Section Creation
The innovative software „3D Evolution Simplifier“ from Core Technologie is now available as version 4.0 with updated functionalities. Due to automatic simplification of the detailed CAD models from all current formats it enables enormously fast further processing such as the creation of cross sections and drawing for all major CAD systems. During the process, the internal geometry is removed by using this automated methodology. In the automatic process, volume and solid models of the original external geometry are created which can be further processed in all CAX Systems with dramatically improved performance. The particular advantage of the tool is that due to an automatic reduction of elements and compression of the resolution the creation of drawing and cross sections of very large data is now possible with the computing power that is available today.
The basis for system optimisation was the challenge that the desired detailing on component level often stands in the way of a rapid display and further processing of the entire assembly such as factory planning. The solution enables a reduction of elements to one-tenth of the original file size at the push of a button, taking place within a few seconds. With extremely comprehensive assemblies used in mechanical engineering, vehicle and aircraft design, the „Simplifier“ optimisation is amongst other things suitable for the drawing creation in CAD systems. As a positive side effect, the models thus created are perfectly protected against undesired access to company know-how because the internal details are permanently removed from the 3D CAD models.
