US Government Agency Selects Kofax for a New Document Capture and Processing Program

The sale, which was closed in early August, includes $4.1 million of software licenses and $3.5 million for four years of prepaid maintenance services, totalling $7.6 million and making it the single largest software sale in the company“s history.

The agency is using Kofax Capture™ and Kofax Transformation Modules™ to capture and extract data from citizen benefit enrolment applications and related documents and export the resulting content into its systems of record. The solution enables the agency to dramatically reduce labour costs and improve service levels.

Kofax Transformation Modules adds document classification, page separation, data extraction and validation capabilities to Kofax Capture to drive robust capture-to-process applications. By automating what were previously labour intensive, error prone and time consuming tasks, Kofax Transformation Modules can significantly reduce labour costs, improve information quality and accelerate business processes.
