Since the beginning of the year, the language service provider SuccessGlo has been using Plunet BusinessManager for business and translation management. This decision has proved to be beneficial during the Corona crisis.
Founded in 2014, SuccessGlo offers a wide variety of language services, from translations to software and app localization to MT solutions, specializing in IT, Life Sciences and patents. With four sites in Asia – in China (two), Singapore, and Vietnam – and customers such as Facebook, Hilton, and the German electronics company Rohde & Schwarz, SuccessGlo is already well established internationally.
Plunet BusinessManager, the leading business and translation management system, integrates every step of the translation management process in a single web-based solution, from quote, order, job, and invoice management to reporting. The centralization of all project information and data and automated workflows save valuable time and reduce manual work. It is also possible to adjust the system to fit individual requirements and add extensions to the platform via seamless interface integrations.
Sought and found: A sophisticated system for standardized processes
Before Plunet, SuccessGlo used a project management system that was only equipped with standard functions such as project recording, creating purchase orders, and invoicing. After the company expanded to four sites, it was necessary to move to a more sophisticated system in order to display and organize all projects, workflows, teams, and financial information. The choice was Plunet. Steven Zou, Managing Director of SuccessGlo, gave the following reasons for the decision:

Plunet was quickly installed in the language service provider’s cloud environment. After selecting the right infrastructure and hardware, SuccessGlo received intensive online training sessions on system configuration, individual functions, and how to adjust the software to individual requirements.
Successful working in spite of the Corona crisis
Since the beginning of the Corona crisis, all of the employees at SuccessGlo have been working from home. Thanks to the timely migration of their workflows to Plunet BusinessManager, SuccessGlo was able to continue working without any restrictions. Steven Zou explains how this was possible:
„Because Plunet BusinessManager is integrated into our cloud environment, our internal staff at the four offices and external freelancers still have full access to all data and projects. So, in this respect, nothing has changed. All projects still run smoothly, without any negative impact from the crisis. And our team members can continue to work safely and healthily.“
Diverse application options with Plunet
Along with the Plunet software, SuccessGlo purchased the standard SDL Trados Studio integration and the additional module QualityManager.
The analysis files created in SDL Trados Studio can be imported into Plunet with just a few clicks and linked with the Plunet price lists for customers and resources. This enables an automated, error-free, and efficient calculation of all prices and costs. With QualityManager, it is possible to integrate customer and team feedback into all work processes, which is an important factor for quality assurance.
As the company continues to grow, more Plunet integrations with market-leading CAT tools and additional modules could follow. Steven Zou’s expectations of Plunet BusinessManager have already been fulfilled:
